A Tweeds Head South man was snapping photographs of sun rays last week, but it appears that he might have captured a bit more than he bargained for.
Upon review of his photographs, Rick Whitley noticed what looked to be two dark objects floating side by side in the rays of sunlight coming through the clouds. Whitley claims to have not seen the anomaly while initially taking the picture.
“I didn’t notice it when I took the photo,” Whitley told the Northern Star. “It was only just after when I was looking at the photo that I noticed it.”
At first he thought the dark spots might be birds, but later decided against it after considering the distance, claiming the size of the birds would have had to be quite massive.. almost the size of an alien spacecraft.
Whitle, who was a self-described skeptic before the experience, now calls himself a believer.
Unfortunately according to local UFO research group, Springbrook Mountain Extraterrestrial Response Force, there were no other UFO sightings reported that day.
Do you think Rick accidentally photographed a gigantic craft hovering in the sky, or maybe just a really big bird? Is there another answer? Let us know what you think! Tweet us @WhoForted, swing by our Facebook page, or leave a message in the comments section below!
