Tourists Capture Spooky Robed “Ghost” Spying from Castle in Family Photo

What’s the deal with all the photobombing ghosts lately? Regardless, how about another one?

Mayrian and Ryan Islam were enjoying a day exploring an unnamed folly castle when some dick ghost decided to put a damper on the fun by ruining a family photo.

Nurul Islam snapped this picture of his niece and nephew before realizing he had captured something strange walking up the steps inside the castle archway. It’s a mysterious figure that he says wasn’t there when the photo was taken. The image shows what some are saying is a cloaked figure spying impishly from the archway of the structure.

“We waited and waited for a clear point when no one was there as they wanted to hold their hands together. That’s why we’re sure there was no one there,” Nurul explained. “My sister said ‘Oh my God it’s a ghost.’ I’ve started to think it might be. There was definitely no one there when I took the picture.”

According to the source, the castle once belonged to a wealthy family during the 1800s, and the “ghost” in the photograph looks as if she’s walking in the direction of a stairway leading to what was once a sewing room for the ladies.

So? Is it a ghost, or someone just searching for the bathroom? Me? I’m leaning more towards rogue-tourist than ghost, but who knows, maybe it’s the ghost of a tourist looking for the bathroom.

As pointed out by Leah K. and illustrated with a brilliant photo find by Chris L. on our Facebook page, it looks like the family was simply photobombed by Stevie Nicks. Case closed.

That’s… huh. That’s actually not a bad photo. I’m not 100% convinced, but it’s whetted my interest. Is there a larger copy of the photo?
