A UFO hunting pub patron spotted a couple of strange lights hovering over the English city of Bracknell last Friday, and according to one expert, the photo he managed to snap is “one of the best” he’s ever seen.
Steve Lambert was having a drink at the Running Horse Pub when he spotted the odd sight in the evening sky, and he did what any sane person would do: he whipped out his mobile phone, snapped a photo, and uploaded it straight to Facebook.
“They were heading south-west at speed towards Basingstoke—quicker than any normal aircraft. They were there for less than five seconds. I have seen a lot of funny things in the sky and I have always practiced trying to take a photo quickly on my mobile phone,” he said on Facebook.
Of course, with the string of cam360 hoaxes hitting the net over the past few months, it has become easy for anyone with a smartphone to create their very own UFO photograph, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that many are suspicious of Steve’s image of glowing orbs. But, according to famed UFO researcher Nick Pope, the image is not just authentic, it’s excellent.
“It’s one of the best UFO photos I’ve seen for a while,” he told Get Reading. “The shape and colour seems to rule out things like aircraft lights or Chinese lanterns. It would be interesting to know if anyone else saw this, or if anything unusual was tracked on radar.”
So far, nothing more has been released regarding Lambert’s image or whether anyone else in the nearby area spotted a pair of strange lights in the sky last Friday. We’ll keep you posted.
